Beautification

Safety Harbor's newest park is Mullet Creek Nature Park. It is an outdoor art gallery that provides a unique visitor experience. The demonstration gardens are an area where you can learn about and see plants growing. These garden plots are planted and maintained by the Safety Harbor Garden Club Volunteers. The formal art garden sits on 2.6 acres of City-owned land and is at the corner of Church Street and Philippe Parkway. The Park has an Outdoor Art Gallery, two picnic tables, one barbecue pit, three swings, lots of benches and chairs, a water fountain, and lots of fresh air.

The Safety Harbor Garden Club is dedicated to the beautification of our public libraryThe Safety Harbor Public Library was first established in 1938 by the Women's Civic Club of Safety Harbor with assistance from federal Works Progress Administration (WPA) funds.

Today, the Safety Harbor Public Library is a vital part of our community and provides an anchor presence downtown. Today’s library continues to promote literacy, but provides much more than books, music, magazines, and DVDs.

The Safety Harbor Garden club is proud to support the beautification of the Safety Harbor Museum.

Safety Harbor Museum is a not-for-profit organization offering docent-led tours of featured exhibits as well as classes taught by local artists which focus on mixed media art, wood carving, mosaics, pastels, landscape watercolors, and other arts.
